A few years ago I was building my marketing agency and traveling the world, and it was very hard to find people like us. We weren't just your entrepreneurs that lock themselves in an apartment and work behind a computer all day. We were the ones who valued building a complete life.
We valued maximizing the experiences that we had in our travels. We valued meeting incredible people along the way and having deep experiences. We valued bringing people together for community. We valued our health, our relationships, our mental, emotional, and spiritual growth as well.
Because of that, when we would go to other events, we found that these other communities were either all focused on just making more money and growing their business, so every conversation just started to feel monotonous. Eventually it was all about "Who are you? What have you done? What can you do for me?" which isn't, in my opinion, true connection. Or they were a cool community, but it revolved around late nights, loud music and drinking. Or they were communities unrelated to entrepreneurship, like spiritual communities, wellness communities and run clubs, where you would go and it's like throwing a dart at a wall blindly. You might meet someone one week, and the next you might feel like you met no one to connect with.
So I decided to start creating the spaces where the right founders gathered. It started by hosting masterminds, building the International Breakfast Club, a prior community I had built, and incorporating adventures, outdoors, hikes, and dinners. Then came workshops where members, different guests, or friends would speak, and weekend trips where we would combine real connection with fun experiences and also have inner work and deep reflection time together.

Over the last couple of years I have hosted over 35 different events and had 1,000 people attend across 2 or 3 different countries. I realized that ultimately I don't want to just throw events. I want to create consistent community where the right people stick together and grow together for years to come, because a rising tide raises all ships.
I wanted to surround myself with the types of friends who are pursuing building impactful businesses, but who are also genuine and fun people to hang around. They love adventure and are really taking their health seriously. They value committed relationships. They have deep faith and spiritual practice. They're mentally and emotionally strong and resilient.

When we started doing volunteer trips to poor neighborhoods in the countries we traveled to, raising money through our friends to give back and do nice things for people, I thought: what would we call this? Who are these types of people? I realized we are the ones.
By being the one, by becoming the best version of yourself in every area of your life and simply living that as an example, other people are inspired.
Other people start to change their lives. Other people start to commit to growing by seeing how great our lives are because of the standards we hold ourselves to.

Being the ones starts by becoming the best version of ourselves, and by building a community where every single person is committed to becoming the best version of themselves. Together, we are the ones that can have massive impact in this world.
